India offers an e-Medical Visa for citizens of most countries, valid for up to 60 days and allowing 3 entries. We provide a formal invitation/treatment letter from the hospital which is required for your visa application. The process typically takes 3–5 business days online via the Indian e-Visa portal.
We recommend arriving at least 2–3 days before your scheduled procedure. This allows time for pre-operative tests (blood work, ECG, etc.), your in-person consultation with Dr. Bansal, and for you to acclimatise and rest after your flight.
This depends on the procedure: Hair transplant: 3–5 days. Rhinoplasty / Facelift: 10–14 days. Abdominoplasty / Breast surgery: 10–14 days. Microsurgery / Gender reassignment: 3–4 weeks. Dr. Bansal will confirm clearance to fly before you depart.
Dr. Bansal will examine you before your departure and issue a fit-to-fly certificate. For most procedures this is 7–14 days post-op. Compression stockings are recommended for long-haul flights. We will advise specifically based on your procedure.
We accept cash (INR and major foreign currencies), credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard) and bank transfers. We recommend arriving with some Indian Rupees for day-to-day expenses. ATMs are widely available in Jaipur.
Absolutely. Dr. Bansal is available on WhatsApp (+91 92694 33830) for text, photos and video calls before, during and after your visit. Pre-travel video consultations are complimentary. Post-surgery follow-ups via video call are scheduled at 2 weeks, 1 month, 3 months and 1 year.
